Baby dedications are conducted the 4th Sunday of a given month during the 10:00am worship
service. For additional information, please contact the church office.
Weddings
We congratulate you on your engagement! Grace Chapel Baptist Church believes that
your decision to marry is an expression of your love for each other and to the world.
Christian marriages require couples to notify the church of their intention to marry three
to six months before the wedding date. this special moment in the lives of the couple, we suggest that you contact the
church office to get started with your wedding plans.
Before any scheduling is made, please verify the availability of the planned date with
the church. If the date is open the couple will be asked to complete a “Wedding
Contract” detailing the church requirements.
Christian marriage is a lifetime commitment, couples that would like to wed at Grace Chapel are given personal attention
through premarital sessions that are required and conducted by the Pastor. By investing in this process the couple will gain
an understanding of God’s intent and purpose of marriage.
An exception may be granted for nuptials that do not regularly fellowship at Grace Chapel. However, we request that you
contact the Executive Assistant to the Pastor at (973) 956-0191 for further instructions.
Home Going Services
During your time of grief the Grace Chapel Ministerial staff and
church family would like to express our condolences for the loss
of your love one. Please know that our payers are with you and
your family. Our willing hands and arms are opened to comfort
you during your bereavement.
Homegoing Service:
Grace Chapel family members are encouraged to contact the church to speak with the
Executive Assistant or their assigned Deacon with the news of their loss. At that time, a
homegoing service detailing the arrangements and repast will be planned in accordance
with the church schedule and guidelines. For the relatives of Grace Chapel family a
“Sympathy Letter” will be sent as an expression of condolences.
New Member Classes
During our church school hour new membership classes are open each Sunday morning
at 9:00am – 10:00am for new converts, reinstated candidates, transferred disciples and
those that have been inactive in body of Christ for a period of time. For those that are
unable to attend the Sunday morning sessions, we offer these lessons Wednesday
evenings at 6:00pm – 7:00pm. These teachings are perquisites to the right-hand of
fellowship, which are designed to engage new members in the transparency of
discipleship and the nature/structure of the church.
